Spring!

Where have I been?

Well, all over, really. Specifically, Minneapolis and New York took up most of March and April. But now my ridiculously busy time is over and my very busy but local time begins - which means I can focus on cool stuff again!

But when I was in NYC I saw some cool stuff... Spring in NYC is rather magical. Everyone comes out of the shells in which they've been hiding all winter. The streets are filled with people heading to the park instead of the train. The parks are filled with loiterers instead of masochistic runners. And there are flowers everywhere!

For example, Macy's has its annual Flower Show. This was the entrance to the store in Herald Square:

Of course, I wasn't at Herald Square to see the Flower Show, I was there to shop, but it was a nice bonus  : )

These pretty ladies perked up an otherwise gray Bryant Park:

And in front of an office building, across from Radio City Music Hall, I found my absolute favorites in full bloom - tulips!

I found these ruffled daffodils upstate:

Since I've been home the last few days, several very nice opportunities have presented themselves to me, for which I am very grateful. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out, but all could be quite fruitful creatively. And now that I'm home for longer periods of time - for a while, at least - I can devote some time into opening my Etsy shop and pulling together a portrait photography portfolio! Look for links soon!

And posts here at least three times a week - I promise!
